Membership Renewal Instructions

    After you have reviewed your member record and determined which membership type you qualify for below, please submit the Membership Renewal Form by clicking here.

    Membership Types

    $50 – CMSHRM & National Membership - Individuals who are National SHRM members and wish to join/renew CMSHRM Membership

    $110 – CMSHRM & Non-National Membership -  Individuals who are not National SHRM members and are engaged as one or more of the following:  practitioners in any of the various functional areas within the field of HR management, including but not limited to: compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, organizational development, training, employee relations, diversity and inclusion, workers' compensation and safety, HRIS,  HR policy, payroll, workforce analytics/reporting and HR strategy and planning.  May be in a generalist or specialist capacity, faculty members holding an assistant, associate, adjunct or full professor rank in HR management or any of its specialized functions at an accredited college or university; or college faculty member responsible for and serving as advisor to a student SHRM chapter, full time HR consultants and/or full-time attorneys who counsel or advise clients on matters relating to the HR profession and/or employment law.     

    $0  - Student Membership - Individuals who are actively enrolled in a degree program with the area of concentration of HR management or any other HR related field (i.e. industrial/labor relations, HR development, organizational development, industrial/organizational psychology, etc.) or in part time graduate degree program such as an MBA with an emphasis in HR management.

    Member in Transition - Currently Unemployed - current CMSHRM members who become unemployed may reapply for a complimentary membership for a maximum of one year. Must be willing to volunteer time to CMSHRM subcommittee or board.


    Meeting fees are $20 at the door for members or $45 for non-members.

    Includes lunch costs, facility rental, and SHRM approved speaker fees.

    Students - SHRM students pay $5 and first time guests are free. 

    Renewal of membership is due by January 31.
