Times are changing and HR needs to roll with it all. With continued support of #metoo and mandated workplace harassment trainings, we'll talk about what's required and what employers can do to decrease the risks. Allegations can also impact an organization's culture and ability to attract and retain key talent! And with the age of legalized marijuana, managing substance use and drug testing will remain one of the most challenging issues for employers. We'll review common strategies for addressing drugs (and alcohol) in the workplace. There's simply too much at stake for organizations to not pay attention to these important topics.
In this program you will learn:
- Implement policies and training to raise awareness
- Set guidelines for work conduct
- Review several federal labor and employment laws
- Implications of the #MeToo movement and marijuana legalization.
