Attendees will learn what drives the mod, and ways to control it including little known statutes that allow for the mod to be revised. We will review the common mistakes in the audit process and how to avoid being overcharged. Lastly, we will touch on best practices to improve outcomes for employers and injured employees.
Attendees will leave understanding what really drives the mod and how to avoid mismanagement and costly mistakes with both the audit and experience mod.
Mark is one of Minnesota’s first Certified Work Comp Advisors and is a member of the first agency advisor council for one of the largest self-insured funds in the state. A long-time speaker and educator on workers’ compensation, Mark works diligently with the Minnesota Comp Advisor team to control and minimize the impact of claims, drive down experience mods, and save money on premiums. A Falcon Heights native, Mark lives in the northeast suburbs of St. Paul with his wife and two boys.
